A number of classes are offered, this list is not all that might be available, but the ones which we have worked to get information for, due to popularity.

Soap Making

You will make a cold processed soap with vegetable oils and essential oils.  All materials are supplied.

  • Cost: $50
  • Time Commitment: 2-3 hours

Felt

You will make one, or if time permits possibly two items.

Traditional Wet Felting – Flat

You will create one flat felt piece.  If time permits, a second piece may also be created.

  • Cost: $50
  • Time Commitment: 2-3 hours (limited to 3 hours)
  • Maximum Time: 3 hours

Nuno Felt Scarf Making

Nuno felt scarves are felted on fine fabric (often silk) and have very good drape for a felted item.  You will create one felt scarf.

  • Cost: $75
  • Time Commitment: 2-3 hours (limited to 3 hours)
  • Maximum Time: 3 hours

Three Dimensional Object Felting

Three dimensional objects are felted.  Examples of what might be created are things like a tea cozy or an iPod/Phone case.

  • Time Commitment: 2-3 hours (limited to 3 hours)
  • Maximum Time: 3 hours

Needle Felting

Needle felting is done using felting needles.  You will create an object using needle felting techniques.

  • Cost: $50
  • Time Commitment: 2-3 hours (limited to 3 hours)
  • Maximum Time: 3 hours

Hat Making

In the hat making class, you will create a hat using wet felting techniques.  There are a number of options for design of the hat.

  • Cost: $75
  • Time Commitment: 2-3 hours (limited to 3 hours)
  • Maximum Time: 3 hours

Other Options

There are a number of other options including dyeing, weaving, and spinning.  In each of these a number of different approaches can be examined.
